Dr. Philip Giovannini Dr. Philip Giovannini, the director of Trinity Safaris, got his doctorate in Agricultural Engineering from the University of California, Davis, and has a Master of Science degree in International Development.  He has worked overseas with a variety of international organizations doing ecological consulting in Egypt and Costa Rica and research work at the Asian Institute of Technology in Thailand. He has also done research at the Hawaii Institute of Marine Biology and was awarded a Sea Grant Fellowship to work with the California Senate Committee on Natural Resources.

Dr Giovannini has traveled extensively in Africa and met his wife, Seba, while working in Tanzania.  Their son Massimo is now almost three years old and, like his parents, speaks both English and Swahili. He is an avid photographer and all the pictures shown on this site were taken from his own safari expeditions in Tanzania.
