standards and guidelines for
web site design and creation.
We build sites that are efficient,
attractive, and functional, and which adhere to the
findings of studies done in human-computer interaction.
We spend time with clients to make sure that we can
provide a site that meets or exceeds the client goals
while still maintaining our own very high standards.
If this is determined to be impossible, we gladly
will refer the client to another company.
If a client already has a web site and only
wishes to have us do minor maintenance and hosting,
we accept most sites in this case but do have
certain limitations. For instance, we would
not be able to accommodate sites involving
sexist, racist, or homophobic material or pornography.
We provide our clients with the copies of their
files upon completion of their web site, and make
backups of all changes as they occur. These
files are available to the client at no extra charge,
and NewlightSoftware.com will assist any client
that decides to have their site hosted or maintained
by another company. We want our clients to be
completely satisfied, and to date, 100% of them have
been.
