Tom Selva ranked consistently among the top ten best juniors in California, reaching the #1 spot in the National Public Parks in the 18's and under. He played the #1 place in the tennis team at California Baptist University and Southwest Texas State University where he was All-American for four straight years. During the ATP tour Tom won matches against several top ranked international players. Other achievements include winning seven first class series tournaments in France and reaching the semi-finals of the Gaston Open in 1977. Tom has had a P1 status with the USPTA for over 15 years and a Professorat Francais, one of the highest teaching certifications in France. He has a great deal of experience as a Tennis Director, having managed several large tennis facilities with over 3000 participants annually.
Teaching & Touring Pro - Mary James
Mary James began competing in junior national tournaments at the age of eight, where she reached the top five in several years. She is a graduate of Southwest State University, Minnesota, where she played the #2 spot for the tennis team which finished in the top ten schools in the nation throughout her college tenure. She reached All-American status in her senior year by finishing #16 in the USA (NAIA). After working as assistant coach for the university's team, she went on to play in the Professional Women's Tennis Tour (WTA). Mary is now ranked among the first 500 players in the world. As a teaching professional she holds a P1 status, one of the highest certifications in the USPTA. She brings her knowledge and experience fresh from the tour to teach for Entertaining Tennis, Inc.
